About the Author
Nichola Fletcher is the vice chair of the Food Trust of Scotland and a member of the Guild of Food Writers. Her book Nichola Fletcher’s Ultimate Venison Cookery was the recipient of the Gourmand World Cookbook Award for best single subject cookbook in the world in 2008. She is the author of several other books, including 1001 Foods You Must Eat Before You Die.

An amazing history of the...well...history of caviar. As well as a forward look at the future of caviar and the sturgeon that produce it!
Interesting recipes, a light sense of humor and really cool period pictures as well as stories all masterfully strung together by what is clearly a talented editor and author.

This is a lovely book. Good, interesting information on Caviar. Would be a great gift with a small jar of caviar. You know, for the person who has everything and you have no idea what to get them that is unique - and you happen to know they like caviar.
